Vineyard Valley

Vineyard Valley

Post 1:
Based on my ongoing walks and observations, I would describe my neighbourhood as a community because most of the people in my neighbourhood know each other, and are willing to help other people in our neighbourhood. When I was younger, my mom would always hire local babysitters within our neighbourhood to help look after me and my sister. During my walk, I saw my neighbour cutting his grass, and I also noticed some kids playing at the park, which reminded me of when I was younger and in elementary school. My parents would work long hours and overtime back then, so after school I would always be looked after by somebody that my parents found to look after us. When I was a kid I would also go over to my parent's friend's house, and we would always bake cookies with our neighbours. I also remember the people across the street used to make pre-made meals like quiche and roasted vegetables and my mom would always buy dinner from them, and we would get our hair cut by Jenn who is a hair dresser that lives down the street.
