Canada Day
Post 2:
For this post, my source is my mother, Monique. On Canada day when my sister and I were younger, my neighbours Greg and Linda would always host an event on Canada day and light fireworks and invite everyone in the neighbourhood. These events were always enjoyable, and I miss when they used to host them because it reminds me of when I was a kid, my parents were still together, and our neighbourhood felt like a community because everyone knew each other and we spent time together more regularly. My mom remembers one of these nights as a scary experience, because one time they were lighting the fireworks, and one of them shifted in it's position before it went off, and then it ended up going straight towards one of my dad's friends, and he ended up being in the hospital for a couple days. It really brought our community together because we all showed up and supported him through that tough time.
